Description
Ontario County is soliciting bids for the furnishing, screening, storing, stockpiling, and placement of topsoil and mulch materials for highway and other property maintenance. Required materials include screened and unscreened topsoil, bulk double-ground brown mulch without dyes, engineered playground mulch meeting ASTM F1292 and ASTM F2075, and related trucking, delivery, and placement services using a stone slinger. Bidders must provide unit pricing by material, measurement unit, plant location, and geographic delivery zone. The County may make multiple awards and guarantees no minimum or maximum quantity. Materials must meet the specified New York State Department of Transportation standards, and playground mulch requires third-party certification. The agreement is for January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to two additional 12-month renewal periods.
