Description
The City of Portsmouth is soliciting sewer rehabilitation services for existing pipelines. The work includes CCTV and internal inspections; defect identification and documentation; approved trenchless rehabilitation methods such as sliplining, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), spray-applied pipe lining, pipe bursting, spiral wound, and form-and-fold systems; and pipeline preparation including root cutting, high-pressure jetting, descaling, and surface conditioning. The contractor must perform bypass pumping when required, provide a bypass pumping plan when applicable, conduct post-installation CCTV and required pressure or deflection testing, reinstate service laterals, and restore pavement, landscaping, and other disturbed surfaces to City standards. The opportunity encourages participation by MBEs, WBEs, DVBEs, SBEs, and VOBs.
