Description
The United States Navy is soliciting repair and modification of CONTROLLER, LOGIC units used in the Sub Atmosphere Control system. The requirement identifies CAGE 05624 and reference number SYMZ70046-20, with an estimated repair turnaround time of 230 days. Repair work must restore the carcass to “A” condition and include packaging and shipment back to the Navy, along with required inspection, testing, marking, packaging, and mercury-free controls. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered, and proof of authorized-distributor status must be submitted with the offer. The solicitation includes an option for increased quantity 180 days after award, and pricing for the option must be provided. Award evaluation will be based on the lowest aggregate total price, including the option quantity. A Source Approval Request is required from firms not already approved, but approval will not delay the procurement.
