Description
The U.S. Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting a total small-business set-aside for repair of a TRANSFORMER, POWER, reference number NV822158-3, associated with CAGE 73030. The requirement includes repair or overhaul to the contractor's approved standards, inspection and testing in accordance with the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, packaging, marking, and shipment back to the Navy. The estimated repair turnaround time is 81 days and must include repair of the carcass to “A” condition and packaging and shipment. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered, and proof of authorized-distributor status on company letterhead, signed by a responsible company official, must accompany the offer. The repaired item must comply with applicable quality, marking, packaging, mercury-free, and technical requirements. The solicitation includes a separately priced option for an increased quantity up to the stated percentage, exercisable 180 days after award. The amendment removes Clause 252.240-7996; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
