Description
The U.S. Navy is procuring Multiple Ship Sustainment Partnership single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts for fleet maintenance availabilities and incremental selected restricted availabilities on DDG-51-class ships homeported in Norfolk, Virginia. The fixed-price-with-award-fees contracts will be divided into Facilitized and Non-Facilitized Lots, with up to three contracts anticipated for each lot. The scope includes inter-availability preparation and administration, inspections and assessments, engineering and design support, review of specifications and government-furnished information, material procurement, logistics support, and completion of ship maintenance availabilities. Facilitized Lot work includes scheduled restricted availabilities performed at contractor-provided facilities, while other work will generally occur at government facilities. The Facilitized Lot is full and open; the Non-Facilitized Lot is set aside for small businesses. Each contract will have three one-year ordering periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice; proposals are not currently being accepted, and the solicitation is forthcoming.
