Description
The City of Chesapeake is soliciting vendors for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide 10-pound bags of ice through bulk delivery, along with optional refrigerated storage. The scope includes one refrigerated storage truck with an operator and one refrigerated storage trailer without an operator, as requested by the City. Deliveries may be directed to City facilities or designated Points of Distribution within Chesapeake, with performance generally expected within 24 hours of order placement. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and tools necessary to fulfill emergency task orders. The contract has a one-year initial term with two one-year renewal options, and the City may make multiple awards. Estimated quantities are 10,000 bags of ice, one truck-day, and one trailer-day, but actual IDIQ demand is not guaranteed.
