Description
The County of Orange Sheriff-Coroner is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of specified Hornady ammunition. The line items include .308 A-MAX ammunition, 9mm Luger training and Critical Duty ammunition, .40 S&W and .45 Auto training ammunition, 12-gauge buckshot and slug loads, and .223 Remington TAP Urban ammunition, in specified case or box quantities. Substitutions are not permitted without prior written approval, and products must be new and delivered complete within 30 days of each order request. Bids must be submitted electronically through the County's online bidding system. The solicitation requires completion of the portal's supplier-response sections, including bidder and company information, references, certifications, non-collusion and campaign-contribution forms, and any applicable preference documentation. The resulting contract is intended to run for three calendar years beginning April 20, 2027, with no guaranteed usage; delivery is to a secured law-enforcement training facility during specified weekday receiving hours.
