Description
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is seeking qualifications to prequalify contractors for on-call construction projects with budgets under $250,000 per project at various district sites. Requested work may include demolition, painting, framing and drywall, doors and hardware, electrical, ceiling and tile installation, flooring, roofing, masonry, casework and millwork, fencing, concrete, plumbing, earthwork, HVAC, and other specialty work. Offerors may seek qualification for any services they propose to provide; no work or future award is guaranteed through this prequalification. The submission requires a technical proposal describing the company, proposed project leadership and staffing or subcontracting approach, offered services, and service-specific experience and project information. It also requires four completed solicitation forms, business and professional licensing records as applicable, insurance documentation, a W-9, and a surety letter confirming bonding capacity. Performance and payment bonds are required for later individual projects exceeding $100,000, not as part of this qualifications submission.
