Description
The project will repair a wall failure and restore the roadway along the southern edge of Delafield Road, west of its intersection with Eton Drive. Work includes constructing an approximately 70-foot precast modular retaining wall with a cast-in-place moment slab and barrier, removing and replacing pavement near the wall, and milling and overlaying adjacent pavement. Bids must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 on the Bidders Understanding of Conditions Sheet. The addendum revises the award and execution provisions, including requiring the awarded contractor to provide a contract bond and a separate labor and materialmen’s bond, each for the full contract price. A maintenance bond equal to 100% of the final contract amount is required after final acceptance.
