Description
The Air Force seeks a contractor to provide on-call asbestos surveys, bulk sampling and testing, and asbestos-abatement air monitoring and reporting at Buckley Space Force Base. Work includes routine and urgent call-outs, up to 20 samples per call-out, and written survey reports with supporting logs, photographs, laboratory results, and other applicable documentation. The contractor must provide the personnel, management, equipment, supplies, and transportation needed to perform the work. Surveys must be conducted by a Colorado-certified Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) with at least 40 hours of experience managing Regulated Asbestos Contaminated Soils. The requirement is for protecting military and civilian personnel performing building maintenance; contractors performing their own contracted work must provide their own CABI. The Government intends to establish a five-year, multiple-award BPA with two holders, with no guaranteed minimum quantity or dollar value. Ordering under the agreement may not exceed $350,000 during the ordering period.
