Description
The City of Fort Myers Public Works Department is soliciting a contractor to perform field pretreatment, surface preparation, and maintenance painting of existing steel strain poles, mast arms, and monotube assemblies at eight identified intersections. The work includes labor, supervision, materials, coatings, equipment, Maintenance of Traffic, protection, cleanup, and incidental work. The contractor must use specified preparation and coating procedures, including pressure washing, solvent cleaning, abrasion, galvanized-surface pretreatment, and application of an approved high-performance coating system. Work must comply with applicable Florida Department of Transportation and Lee County Department of Transportation requirements, include a five-year coating warranty, and be performed by a contractor with at least three years of relevant traffic-signal painting experience. The response must include qualification documentation, relevant project references, applicable licenses and certifications, equipment information, required affidavits and certifications, a current capacity certification, a Sunbiz report, and a current W-9.
