Description
Fauquier County and the Fauquier County School Board are soliciting proposals from qualified firms to administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests for approximately 2,650 active government and school employees. The selected firm must support approximately 300 FMLA requests annually and approximately five ADAA claims unrelated to leave extensions. The scope includes claim intake, eligibility determinations, claim processing and certification, intermittent-leave administration, employee communications, compliance monitoring, legislative and regulatory guidance, technology and data-feed capabilities, and reporting. Offerors must describe their FMLA and State Paid Family and Medical Leave expertise, provide an employee information-packet sample and reporting sample, identify proposed monthly fees, and respond to the questionnaire. The initial contract term is 12 months beginning January 1, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals.
