Description
This solicitation is for the installation of steel casing pipes and carrier pipes for water and sewer lines. The work includes furnishing and installing ductile iron or PVC carrier pipes with restrained joints, casing spacers to center the carrier pipe within the casing, and masonry end seals. Casing pipe sizes range from 14" to 54" depending on carrier pipe size. Spacer placement intervals are specified: minimum 3 spacers per length of ductile iron pipe with maximum 8-ft separation, and minimum 4 spacers per length of PVC pipe with maximum 6-ft separation. All materials must conform to the Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority's Approved Materials List.
