Description
The City seeks a contractor to remove and lawfully dispose of deteriorated K-13 spray-applied insulation, prepare designated surfaces, and install a closed-cell spray polyurethane foam insulation system. The replacement foam must be 2-pound density, at least 2 inches thick on designated walls and 3 inches thick on designated ceilings and roof decks, and provide at least R-13 thermal resistance. Work includes containment, protection of adjacent areas, cleanup, and phasing to keep fleet operations running. The contractor must also apply a compatible listed intumescent coating and an exterior-grade latex finish coat. Bidders must provide evidence of applicable Florida licensing, relevant experience, manufacturer-trained installer certification, three similar-project references, product data, a preliminary work sequencing and phasing plan, and a 10% bid bond. A mandatory site visit is required. Performance and payment bonds are required from the successful contractor after award.
