Description
Wicomico County Public Schools is soliciting bids for a multi-award, as-needed Carpentry Job Order Contract covering various projects at WCPS sites. The scope includes finish and rough carpentry, metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, demolition, caulking, windows, doors, frames and hardware, roofing, exterior trim and siding, and systems furniture assembly and installation. Contractors must provide labor, materials, equipment, freight, supervision, and related services. Individual projects will be issued through task order requests and priced using billable labor rates, material markups, subcontractor markups, and rental-equipment markups. The initial contract period begins upon award and continues through December 31, 2029, with no renewals. Bidders must submit separate technical and price bids electronically, along with the required bid forms, qualifications information, references, licenses, insurance certificate, financial statements, resumes, and other supporting documentation. The prime contractor must self-perform the carpentry trade with full-time benefited employees; subcontractors, independent contractors, and temporary labor may comprise less than 10% of the prime-trade workforce.
