Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for a five-year base-plus-four-option-year electrophoresis testing requirement at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The contractor must provide fully automated, FDA-approved electrophoresis instrumentation capable of serum and urine protein electrophoresis, serum and urine immunofixation, and immunotyping. The requirement includes Hydrasys 2 and Capillarys 3 Octa or equal systems, ancillary equipment, software, printers, interfaces, backup power, reagents, calibrators, controls, consumables, and supplies. The contractor must perform installation, method validation, correlation and carryover studies, training, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, upgrades, waste-stream characterization, hazardous-waste documentation, and ongoing technical support. The solicitation requires pricing for all line items and the attached price list, a technical approach demonstrating compliance with the Statement of Work, and past-performance information for three to five similar projects completed or satisfactorily progressing within the past five years. Quotes must be submitted by email and total attachments may not exceed 25 MB.
