Description
The City of Victoria is establishing a qualified contractor roster for as-needed arboriculture services on approximately 34,000 trees located on city-owned boulevards, medians, parks, natural areas, streets, and other properties. Work may include preventative and clearance pruning, spurless and spur climbing, tree and stump removal, stump grinding, tree risk assessments, tree support-system installation and inspection, root and soil work, utility clearing, integrated pest management, fertilization, wildlife enhancement, traffic control, and severe-weather or emergency response. Tenderers must provide qualified personnel, equipment, safety procedures, certifications, and hourly rates for labor, equipment, call-out premiums, and traffic control. The submission must include the completed Tender Form with Schedules 1, 2, and 3, plus occupational health and safety documentation. The resulting roster is expected to run for five years from award through December 31, 2031, with four possible one-year extensions; the City may make multiple awards and does not guarantee a minimum amount of work.
