Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting elevator maintenance services for traction and hydraulic elevators at the Kona and Honolulu Air Traffic Control Towers. The contractor must provide qualified elevator personnel, tools, equipment, materials, supervision, monthly examinations and adjustments, lubrication, cleaning, minor repairs, replacement parts, emergency services, and required testing in accordance with applicable ASME elevator codes. Major parts and associated installation are included as specified, with major replacements requiring Contracting Officer approval. The scope also requires annual elevator certification by an outside consultant, periodic safety testing and reporting, emergency response within specified timeframes, maintenance of spare-parts inventories, records of service and repairs, and coordination with FAA facility operations. The solicitation includes a base year and four option years, for a potential five-year period of performance. Offers must include business and technical proposals, at least three similar projects completed within the past three years, and at least three third-party customer satisfaction surveys meeting the stated evaluation requirements.
