Description
The contractor must provide aircraft, qualified pilots and maintenance personnel, equipment, and related support for military static-line and military free-fall parachute operations. The scope includes aircraft capable of personnel and cargo airdrops, flight and drop-zone coordination, aircraft maintenance and airworthiness, and compliance with applicable FAA and DoD aviation requirements. Aircraft must support operations from dirt runways, high-altitude lifts, and parachute and cargo drops; the solicitation specifies a CASA 212 or equivalent aircraft with a rear ramp and required safety systems. The contract is an indefinite-quantity vehicle with a five-year ordering period and a possible six-month extension of services. Quotes must include a mission-capability volume and a price volume, including aircraft and labor pricing. The solicitation requires evidence of aircraft capabilities, staffing qualifications, aviation compliance, and maintenance support. The small-business set-aside also carries a limitation on subcontracting.
