Description
Cumberland County is soliciting bids for the turnkey replacement of five sections of telescoping bleachers and chairs at Crown Coliseum. The scope includes demolition and off-site disposal of the existing system; engineering, manufacturing, freight delivery, floor anchoring, and installation of a motorized, multi-tiered, forward-folding upholstered individual-chair telescoping system; electrical power distribution and controls; safety interlocks; and structural and operational testing. The system must comply with applicable building, electrical, fire, and accessibility codes and use an approved manufacturer and product line. The base bid must include upholstered individual folding chairs, aluminum decking, dedicated armrests and cupholders, accessible seating platforms, seat and row identification, guardrails, warranties, staff training, operation and maintenance manuals, preliminary layout and sightline drawings, certified seating yield, product data, lead times, shipping, and a minimum of three similar-project references. The contract begins upon award and continues until all commitments are fulfilled; no total budget or award amount is stated.
