Description
Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is issuing an Invitation to Bid for the supply and delivery of canned and frozen fruits and vegetables for its Child Nutrition Program. The contract period is from November 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027, with two optional one-year extensions. The solicitation includes a wide variety of items such as sliced apples, applesauce, apricots, beans (baked, black, green, refried), broccoli, carrots, cherries, chilies, corn, cranberry sauce, fruit cocktail, juices (apple, fruit blend, vegetable, slush pouch, lemon), olives, mandarin oranges, peaches, pears, peas, jalapeno peppers, pickles, pineapple, pizza sauce, potatoes (crinkle cut, hashbrowns, instant granules, sweet, tater tots), pumpkin, raisins, spaghetti sauce, spinach, tomatoes (diced, paste, sauce), mixed vegetables, and oriental blend. Deliveries must be made to the VISD Child Nutrition Warehouse at 2301 E. Rio Grande, Victoria, TX, between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. All frozen products must be delivered frozen with an internal temperature no more than +10°F. The district participates in the National School Lunch Program and requires compliance with Buy American and Texas preference provisions. Bids must be submitted electronically via VISD's online bidding system or manually with two hard copies and an electronic flash drive. Required attachments include a completed W-9, Conflict of Interest Form, Federal Contracts Addendum, Legal Notice, Deviation Form, Form 1295, and Proposal Sheet.
