The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink) is seeking proposals for the supply, outfitting, and delivery of service support vehicles for Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) and TransLink Security Management Ltd. (TSML). The required fleet includes heavy-, medium-, and light-duty service vehicles; a regular-cab four-wheel-drive pickup truck; general trades vans; a cargo van for the machine shop; a bus-services SUV; a pool car; and two TSML SUVs, including a Ford Explorer. Optional vehicles include one additional CMBC pool car and seven CMBC supervisor SUVs. The contractor must provide fully outfitted vehicles ready for service. TransLink does not disclose budgetary information. Questions must be submitted through the event message board, which is the only accepted channel for procurement questions; suppliers are instructed not to contact TransLink personnel by phone or other means. Proposals must be submitted through the SAP Ariba event by the stated deadline.
