Description
The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority is soliciting bids for the delivery of lubricants and diesel exhaust fluid to the Highway 59 Landfill in Merced and Billy Wright Landfill in Los Banos. Products include hydraulic oil, synthetic diesel engine oil, transmission oil, final drive axle oil, heavy-duty grease, and diesel exhaust fluid, with estimated annual usage totaling 4,800 gallons across both landfill sites. The contractor must provide as-needed deliveries Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., generally within 72 hours of request, include freight and delivery charges in unit pricing, refill storage tanks at the Highway 59 Landfill, pick up qualifying used drums, prevent contamination, address delivery-related spills, and provide the manufacturer's lubricant warranty. Products must meet the stated specifications, including current Caterpillar standards and ISO 22241-1:2019 for diesel exhaust fluid. The contract is anticipated to run from January 4, 2027, through January 3, 2030, with up to three additional one-year extensions.
