Description
The Alabama Community College System is soliciting sealed proposals from prequalified general contractors for the TSCC Executive Park Building E Renovations project. The work includes demolition and fit-out renovation of Building E and the Maintenance Garage, construction of a new Maintenance Office, removal and replacement of building systems, concrete patching, partitions, finishes, roofing, civil, plumbing, mechanical, fire partitions, electrical work, and replacement of an existing elevator car with new finishes. Interested general contractors must first obtain and submit the prequalification application through the Architect. Only contractors approved through the prequalification process may bid. Bids must use the Architect's proposal forms and include a cashier's check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance are required at contract signing.
