Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking 13 radioactive calibration standards: nine 30 kBq iodine-131 sodium iodide standards and four 400 kBq strontium-89 strontium chloride standards. Each standard must be a 5 mL flame-sealed glass ampoule with radioactivity uniformly distributed in the specified diluent, and the offeror must identify the country of manufacture for each item. Only authorized resellers or original equipment manufacturers will be considered. The standards must meet ANSI N42.22 traceability requirements and include certificates of traceability and calibration. Calibration certificates must state the activity or emissions per second, associated uncertainty, confidence level, and, for encapsulated filter standards, encapsulating-material thickness. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order using lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation. Shipments are scheduled between February and December 2027, with the exact delivery dates to be agreed upon after award.
