Description
The Alabama Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund seeks investment management and consulting services, including custodial services, for its approximately $45 million balanced portfolio. Proposals should describe the firm’s investment approach and provide gross and net performance data for fixed-income and equity portfolios for the one-, three-, five-, and ten-year periods ending December 31, 2025. The Fund expects fixed-income performance to exceed the Bloomberg A+ U.S. Government/Credit Index over a full market cycle and seeks equity performance above the S&P Composite 1500; individual fixed-income securities must be rated A or better. The selected firm must provide monthly statements and performance reports, other specified portfolio reporting, and a senior portfolio advisor to attend monthly and called board meetings. Proposals must include a fee schedule for investment management of an initially approximately $45 million portfolio, with breakpoints, and fees for custody services if applicable. The initial term is expected to be 21 months, with two one-year renewal options.
