Description
North Idaho College (NIC) is soliciting qualifications-based proposals from qualified design-build teams to design and construct a multi-purpose campus field house. The facility will be approximately 7,200 sq ft, heated only, and will accommodate indoor sports, training, and flexible event space. Key components include a steel or pre-engineered building system, LED lighting, HVAC, restrooms, site preparation, and engineering services for structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project also requires technology integration for Wi-Fi and security systems. Compliance with ADA, local building codes, and fire safety codes is mandatory. The budget for construction costs is approved at $750,000, with an additional contingency for design and consulting fees. The project is expected to be completed by October, with a need for the indoor practice facility before winter. Selection will be based solely on qualifications; pricing will be negotiated after selection.
