Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet on behalf of the Department of Corrections, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for the procurement of two Westfield grain augers for the WKCC KCI Farms. The solicitation requires one Westfield WRX80-61 SD 8-inch Grain Auger and one Westfield MKX21073 10-inch Grain Auger, with no substitutions allowed. The 8-inch auger has a tube diameter of 8 inches, length of 61 feet, shaft drive powered by a 540 RPM tractor PTO, capacity of approximately 2,500-3,000 bushels per hour, and weight of about 1,640 lbs. The 10-inch auger has a tube diameter of 10 inches, length of 73 feet, capacity up to 6,000 bushels per hour, requires minimum 65 HP tractor with 540 RPM PTO, and operates at 1,400 PSI. Pricing must be inclusive of all shipping and delivery charges. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination Freight Prepaid and Allowed. The contract will be awarded based on best value (90 points for price, 10 points for delivery). Vendors must bid all line items. Paper bids are not accepted; electronic submission via the Kentucky eProcurement system is required.
