Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking one Applied Photophysics SX20 Single Mixing System, or an equal product meeting the stated salient characteristics. The system must support rapid sub-second enzyme measurements using absorbance and fluorescence photomultiplier tube detectors, a pneumatically driven two-syringe ram, automatic dead-time and drive-volume measurement, built-in calibration electronics, programmable monochromator, ultra-stable non-ozone-producing light source, 120-volt power, anaerobic accessories, glove-box interface, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, and compatibility with a research glove box measuring 42 x 25 x 30.5 inches, with a maximum height of 30 inches. The quote must include the system, PC, monitor, control and kinetic-analysis software, spares kit, delivery, installation, testing, qualification, performance verification, documentation, training, and IT connectivity support. The requirement also includes a minimum five-year warranty, five years of annual preventive maintenance by a manufacturer-certified vendor, U.S.-based telephone and field-application support, and access to parts and service within the specified timeframes. Optional post-warranty service contracts may be offered. Award will be based on comparative evaluation of price, technical documentation, Buy American certification, an OEM authorized-distributor letter when applicable, delivery and installation schedule, and warranty terms. Quotes must include the required statement accepting the solicitation terms or identifying exceptions.
