Description
The Salina Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bids for improvements to the Salina Regional Airport terminal. The work includes a TPO roof overlay with tapered insulation, gutters, downspouts, flashing, and rooftop gas-line relocation; a complete refresh of the public lobby, waiting area, and baggage claim; new ceilings, lighting, flooring, ticket counters, monitors, wall treatments, and column covers; complete public-restroom renovation with replacement piping; and replacement of front-entry and baggage-claim sliding doors. The solicitation also requires furnishing and installing items listed in the furniture schedule and requests an alternate for phenolic-faced wall panel systems in lieu of high-pressure laminate panels. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit are required for prime contractors. A 5% bid bond is required with each bid, and the successful bidder must provide separate performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. The estimated completion date is May 31, 2027.
