Description
Iredell County is soliciting bids for the Solid Waste Facility Landfill Gas Expansion Project (Bid No. 26-751-FC-02). The project involves the complete furnishing and installation of a landfill gas collection system expansion, including vertical gas extraction wells, horizontal headers, laterals, air and forcemain, P&I valves, P&I dewatering pumps, P&I condensate sump, relocation/extension of leachate clean-outs, and tie-in to the existing system. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. outside the Iredell County Solid Waste Baler Building at the landfill, followed by a site tour. Prospective bidders must submit all questions through the OpenGov portal, as direct contact with the engineer for project questions is prohibited. All questions will be answered online. Plans and specifications can be obtained from the online portal OpenGov at https://www.iredellcountync.gov/480/Purchasing-Contracting, or from HNA Engineering, PLLC, 205 Walnut Street, Statesville, NC 28677.
