Description
Fort Bragg Unified School District seeks proposals for E-Rate-eligible internal-connection equipment and related services for Funding Year 2027–2028. The primary requirement is 50 rack-mounted lithium uninterruptible power supplies with battery-backup modules: 10 units for MDFs, equivalent to 4.5–5 kW at 240 V, and 40 units for IDFs, equivalent to 750–1,500 W at 120 V and no more than 2U in height. Pricing must include rack-mounting hardware, applicable network cards, licensing, shipping or freight, sales tax, warranty information, and any maintenance or support provided during the warranty period. District technical staff will install and configure the UPS equipment. The broader project information also identifies replacement of 48 Cat 5 cable drops with Cat 6 cabling and installation of two fiber circuits at Fort Bragg High School. Proposers must provide runtime estimates, confirm completion of the applicable FCC service-provider certification, provide at least three Cat 6A cabling references with contact information, identify SPIN number(s), provide an organization chart with E-Rate support contacts, and confirm the ability to support SIP billing and discounting. Proposals are evaluated on eligible cost, UPS runtime and warranty or battery life, completeness, equipment preference, and prior vendor performance.
