Description
The Maryland Department of Transportation, through the Maryland Transit Administration, is soliciting competitive proposals from firms shortlisted through the preceding Request for Qualifications process. The selected proposer will enter into a public-private partnership agreement to improve, manage, operate, maintain, and finance MDOT-owned freight railroad lines on Maryland's Eastern Shore and in Delaware. The solicitation includes technical requirements, maintenance responsibility matrices, railroad maps, financial model requirements, federal provisions, proposal forms, and a proposal bond form. Eligibility is limited to proposers shortlisted under the RFQ selection process.
