Description
The U.S. Air Force requires a sole-source services contract for Rigaku Americas to reinstall and perform OEM-standard calibration of a previously disassembled Rigaku SmartLab X-ray diffraction instrument, serial number JD2802N, at Hill Air Force Base. The work includes on-site reinstallation within 30 calendar days after award, a follow-up on-site optimization and preventive-maintenance visit approximately 90 days later, troubleshooting and repair using OEM-approved parts, calibration, and one urgent repair visit if requested. The contractor must provide and configure a Windows 11-compatible system controller, SmartLab Guidance and SmartLab Studio II software, required licenses, hardware adapters, software keys, and a one-year ICDD PDF-5+ database license. Software updates must be delivered on CD/DVD media with license keys. The contractor must also provide technical support, calibration certificates, status and service reports, a safety plan, and other contract data deliverables. Contractor personnel must hold an active Secret security clearance at award and maintain it throughout performance; all work is to be performed on-site at Hill Air Force Base when required.
