Description
Palm Beach County is soliciting a Construction Manager at Risk for the North County Courthouse Renovations project. The selected firm will provide preconstruction services, design and constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling, quality control, trade-contractor prequalification and competitive public bidding, Guaranteed Maximum Price development, cost control, safety and claims management, and construction administration. The construction scope includes renovations to the public lobby, security control room and vestibule, secure corridor, office areas, judicial chambers and restrooms, card-access systems, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, roofing, re-keying, fire alarm systems, parking, and exterior screening and fencing. The preliminary construction cost is estimated at $9,000,000. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of 2027 and is anticipated to be completed at the end of 2028. Proposers must be properly licensed and certified, submit a surety letter confirming bondability for a project with a potential $9 million construction cost, and address SBE participation and related qualifications.
