Description
Jackson County is soliciting a general contractor for an addition and renovation to the golf course concession and clubhouse area. Work includes demolition and removal, site preparation and utilities, structural concrete and framing, exterior and interior improvements, ADA-compliant sidewalks and ramps, stormwater systems, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. The plans also include a walk-in cooler and freezer, kitchen and serving-area improvements, and installation of related food-service equipment. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, and tools needed to complete the work, with completion required within 180 working days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is due before the response deadline. Performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract award, are required after award. The proposal must include the specified forms and narratives, including pricing, bidder background and references, project personnel, financial responsibility information, and two dedicated email addresses. MBE/WBE/VBE participation goals apply; the solicitation states goals of 9.5% MBE, 11.7% WBE, and 0% VBE.
