Description
The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and traffic control to stripe an approximately 0.97-mile segment of 155th Street from Horridge Road to North Prairie Lane. The work includes two solid 4-inch white lane lines and two solid 4-inch yellow centerlines, using MoDOT-specified fast-drying waterborne traffic paint and reflective beads. The contractor must prepare the pavement, apply the markings to specification, protect the work while it dries, and correct defective or misplaced markings. The lump-sum bid must include mobilization, traffic control, surface preparation, paint, beads, cleanup, and incidental work. Paint and bead product data must be submitted for review before application. The bid package requires a completed Bid Form, five-percent bid security, a completed Work Authorization Affidavit with supporting enrollment documentation, evidence of insurance and authority to do business in Missouri, proposed subcontractor and major supplier lists, and bidder qualification information including three similar-work references. The contractor must complete the work within 14 consecutive calendar days after the date stated in the County's written Notice to Proceed.
