Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation for contract award. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from interested contractors regarding removal and disposal of water-damaged, mold-contaminated carpeting in a chapel. The work area totals approximately 2,459.4 square feet and includes the main chapel, a rear chapel area, and two closets. The anticipated work includes moving and protecting pews and furnishings, protecting adjacent finishes, removing carpet and padding, scraping loose adhesive and residue, hauling and lawfully disposing of nonhazardous debris, and cleaning the affected areas. Contractors are asked to provide a capability statement, examples of similar work, business and socioeconomic information, experience and staffing details, and information about their ability to perform mold remediation in accordance with applicable New York training or licensing requirements and OSHA regulations. The notice also requests completion of the limitations-on-subcontracting certification.
