Harmony Healthcare Long Island is requesting janitorial services for six healthcare locations and a mobile medical coach. The scope includes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of offices, laboratories, restrooms, lounges, high-touch surfaces, glass, fixtures, floors, stairways, and other facility areas; trash removal; restroom and staff-lounge servicing; floor care; and high dusting. Stripping and waxing, carpet shampooing, and auto-scrubbing may be performed as needed at additional cost. The selected vendor must provide all labor, supervision, uniforms, equipment, tools, cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, paper products, restroom consumables, trash liners, and other supplies. Services must comply with applicable OSHA, CDC, New York State Department of Health, and Joint Commission healthcare-environment requirements. The proposal must address the work plan, staffing levels and schedules, backup coverage, supervision, communication, language capabilities, pricing, background checks, labor-rate breakdown, company qualifications, financial information, references, and required insurance and Business Associate Agreement provisions. A minimum of three comparable references is required, with healthcare facility references preferred.
