Description
The City of Austin, through Austin Aviation, is soliciting proposals for comprehensive parking management operations at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The contractor will manage public garages, surface lots, employee parking, valet and premium parking services, parking reservations and loyalty programs, traffic management, customer service, custodial services, revenue collection, accounting, audits, reporting, and support for the airport's parking and revenue control system. The scope also includes operating, maintaining, and repairing the airport's shuttle bus and terminal-apron passenger-transfer fleet; providing shuttle dispatching, real-time vehicle tracking, customer assistance, accessible transportation, vehicle maintenance, staffing, uniforms, training, security compliance, emergency procedures, and operational plans. The contractor must provide a fixed annual management fee proposal and will be reimbursed for approved operating expenses. The agreement is for 60 months with up to three 12-month extension options. A bid bond of at least 5% of the total offer is required with the proposal; payment and performance bonds are required after award or before contract execution, with amounts based on the first-year management fee and operating budget.
