Description
The City of Woodbine is soliciting engineering services for the 8th Street Replacement Project. The selected firm will provide design, bidding, and construction management services for replacement of 8th Street from White Street to Lincolnway Street, sewer and water utility improvements from White Street to Normal Street, and replacement or installation of sidewalks along 8th Street. The entire street will be engineered, although the City may complete the work in phases; bid documents must therefore be organized block by block. The water utility portion, owned and operated by Woodbine Municipal Light & Power, must be tracked separately for reimbursement purposes. Final design should be completed in time for bidding no later than fall 2027, and portions of the project may use USDA and Community Development Block Grant funding. Proposals must include firm location and contact information, firm and personnel qualifications, similar design and construction management experience, key staff qualifications, a proposed schedule, and a proposed fee schedule.
