Description
The City of Cle Elum is seeking professional engineering firms to provide design, bidding, planning, construction observation, and funding administration services for a federally funded downtown revitalization project. The project includes full-depth reclamation of portions of Railroad Street and Peoh Avenue; curb and gutter; sidewalks; storm drainage; pavement markings; and ADA curb ramps. Additional work on Railroad Street includes curb and sidewalk improvements on the north side. The total project cost for professional services and construction is approximately $1,700,000. Design is anticipated in 2026 and 2027, with construction anticipated in 2027; the contract is expected to be negotiated hourly. Statements of qualifications are limited to 20 pages, excluding a one-page cover letter and front and back covers. Evaluation will consider key personnel, firm experience, schedule, familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards, LAG Manual and NEPA processes, in-house expertise, and past performance/references, followed by interviews.
