Description
Hillsborough Transit Authority is seeking quotes for catering its December holiday event. The contractor must provide hot food for approximately 500 guests during the first shift and 100 during the second, including roasted chicken, glazed ham, rice, mashed potatoes, a vegan option, roasted vegetables, salad, dinner rolls, fruit, and cake. Menu substitutions require prior approval; the vegan option must be identified, and common allergens and dietary information must be communicated to HART before the event. The contractor must provide personnel to set up, maintain, replenish, and monitor the buffet during both service periods, along with necessary serving utensils, food-holding equipment, and other catering equipment. Food must be safely prepared, transported, stored, and maintained at serving temperatures. The contractor is responsible for coordinating delivery and setup, cleaning the serving area, removing its equipment, and disposing of its operational waste. HART provides drinks, dinnerware, decorations, and tables. Applicable business licenses, food service permits, and proof of insurance are required.
