Description
The City of Culver City is soliciting a contractor to perform roof recovery at its transportation facility. The base work includes removal and replacement of roofing systems, installation of a 60-mil adhered PVC membrane roof system and coverboard, replacement or reuse of flashing components, curb and penetration work, and associated roofing details. The contractor must provide a 20-year no-dollar-limit material-and-labor roof warranty and a two-year workmanship warranty. The base scope also requires preparation, sealing, reinforcement, and application of a stormwater mitigation coating system to designated metal roof panels, wall panels, coping, gutters, downspouts, flashings, and related sheet-metal components. Additive alternates cover wall encapsulation with new membrane and coping, skylight replacement, gutter and downspout replacement, and replacement of vertical metal equipment-screen panels. The solicitation requires an implementation schedule, references for at least three similar projects completed within the past five years, specified licenses and registrations, a bid guaranty, and compliance with federal transit requirements.
