The U.S. Army is soliciting a contractor to service a Fairfield 300T Swage at Watervliet Arsenal. The work includes diagnosing and correcting inconsistent forward cylinder speeds, proving out the hydraulic and backpressure systems, evaluating the laser positioning system, and coordinating with the hydraulic-system designer and a controls engineer as needed. The contractor must also supply and install a phosphate-tank pH sensor and display, including the tank bung, sensor housing, cable, transmitter, display, wiring, and related documentation updates such as wiring diagrams, terminal-box drawings, and the phosphate-monitoring-system assembly drawing. The requirement is identified as a sole-source procurement with Fairfield Machine Company, although all responsible entities may submit offers for evaluation. Performance is scheduled from October 1 through December 31, 2026, at a firm-fixed-price quantity of one lot.
