Description
The Toronto Transit Commission is seeking supplemental occupational health services to support its internal Occupational Health & Employee Wellness section. The provider will deliver short-term disability adjudication and case management, disability-related accommodation assessments, return-to-work coordination, and At Work Health Assessments for selected non-unionized employee groups and on an ad hoc referral basis, with potential AWHA support for unionized employees. Services include employee and stakeholder communications, functional and medical documentation review, appeals, fraud monitoring, coordination of Functional Ability Evaluations and Independent Medical Examinations, and support for complex mental-health, workplace-conflict, safety-sensitive, and multifactorial cases. The provider must supply qualified case managers, an account manager, an occupational-medicine physician, and an occupational-medicine psychiatrist, and maintain a network of specialized FAE and IME providers. The scope also requires a secure, accessible case-management system with reporting, analytics, electronic referrals, privacy and cybersecurity controls, data retention, disaster recovery, and secure data transfer. Proponents must describe governance, quality assurance, proposed key staff, methodology, reporting capabilities, implementation, and system architecture, and submit pricing for an initial two-year fixed term with up to three additional one-year options.
