Description
Sacramento County is soliciting bids for one new, self-contained, skid-mounted, gasoline-powered valve exerciser equipped with hydro-excavation and vacuum systems. The equipment must be suitable for maintaining, servicing, and repairing fresh-water system valves and must comply with Specification 660-468 and the solicitation requirements. The requested unit must include, among other features, a valve turner with at least 750 foot-pounds of torque and 13 feet of extended reach, a 100-gallon fresh-water tank, a 250-gallon spoils tank, a hydraulic vacuum system, pressure-washer and hydro-excavation systems, hydraulic auxiliary hose reel, controls and lighting, required accessories, manuals, delivery, demonstration, and training. CARB certification and engine executive orders are mandatory bid submissions. The bidder must also provide a Sacramento-area users list, warranty and product-support information, lead time, and required certifications and acknowledgments through the electronic bidding system.
