Description
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, is seeking information from potential sources capable of providing a system for the detection, identification, and tracking of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). The system is intended for use on and near Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex. Key requirements include a graphical user interface for sUAS and pilot data, real-time actionable intelligence via a data subscription/lease model, recording of pertinent data such as UAS type, location, and speed, access to historical data for at least 30 days, and compatibility with existing AeroDefense systems. The system must be accessible on government-owned desktop workstations and operate on an LTE network. The requirement also includes two annual subscriptions for sUAS alert/detection zones covering both Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, with installation and calibration included. Additionally, one system operator and a "train the trainer" course are required. The contract will include any applicable Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard commercial warranty for new items. Services will be performed at Building 929 on Maxwell AFB and Building 834 on Gunter Annex. The period of performance is one year, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Security requirements for unclassified services include contractor notification, base access procedures, and compliance with traffic laws and electronic device policies.
