Description
The Birmingham Airport Authority (BAA) is soliciting proposals for consulting services to develop, optimize, and manage advertising opportunities at the Birmingham-Shuttleworth International Airport (BHM). The selected consultant will aim to maximize non-aeronautical revenue while enhancing passenger experience and maintaining brand integrity. The scope of work includes developing an advertising policy and procedures manual, assessing the current advertising program, analyzing market trends and benchmarking against similar airports, developing financial models for revenue projections and ownership structures, and creating a long-term advertising and sponsorship strategy. The consultant will also provide implementation support, including assistance with vendor selection and proposal evaluation. Minimum qualifications include at least five years of advertising-related consulting experience for airports with at least 2 million annual enplanements, experience with small hub airports, a principal office located within the United States, and a proven track record of increasing advertising revenue. The term of the agreement is 24 months from execution.
