Description
The Tishomingo County Board of Supervisors is soliciting sealed bids for construction of Railroad Rehabilitation Phase 1. The approximate scope includes mobilization, replacement of 1,200 track feet of existing rail with 132-pound rail, resurfacing of 1,200 track feet, placement of 450 tons of ballast, replacement of 720 cross ties, and related appurtenances. Bids must be submitted under the name of a bidder that has received the contract documents from Plan House Printing and appears on its official planholders list. Bid security is required in the amount and form specified in the Information for Bidders, and the successful contractor must furnish surety bonds upon delivery of the executed contract. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
